About the Role
Our client is seeking a diligent and technically adept Construction Project Engineer to support a variety of building projects based in Coventry . This role is crucial for ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with Project Managers and Site Managers, providing technical expertise, managing documentation, and coordinating site activities. Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to project teams, reviewing blueprints, specifications, and engineering drawings.
- Assist in the preparation and management of project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Coordinate and schedule site activities, including deliveries, inspections, and subcontractor work.
- Monitor construction progress, identify potential issues, and assist in developing solutions to keep projects on track.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
- Participate in site meetings and contribute to effective communication among all project stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a construction engineering or project coordination role.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and building materials.
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
