About the Role

Our client is looking for a motivated Construction Project Engineer to join their dynamic team in Coventry . This role is instrumental in supporting project managers in the planning, execution, and delivery of various construction projects. You will be involved in technical aspects, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring projects run smoothly from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of engineering principles and a keen eye for detail, contributing to the successful outcome of complex construction endeavors.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring accuracy and feasibility.
• Provide technical support and engineering expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Monitor site progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
• Review and approve shop drawings and submittals, verifying compliance with project specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a construction engineering or project support role is essential.
• Familiarity with construction methodologies, materials, and techniques.
• Proficiency in project management software and CAD tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
