About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and results-driven Construction Project Lead to manage key projects within the vibrant city of Birmingham . This role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of construction projects, from initial planning and design through to final handover, ensuring all objectives are met within scope, time, and budget. You will lead a dedicated team of construction professionals and coordinate with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality builds. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring successful execution and delivery.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project flow.
- Monitor project progress, conduct site inspections, and resolve any issues that arise promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all building regulations, health and safety standards, and quality control measures.
- Communicate project status, updates, and potential risks to senior management and key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Significant experience in construction project management , with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building materials, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and financial tracking.
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g., RICS, CIOB) or a degree in a construction-related discipline.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid capacity, balancing site visits with office-based planning and reporting.
