Construction Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for an accomplished Construction Project Manager to lead key projects from inception to completion in the vibrant city of Bristol . You will be responsible for the overall planning, management, and execution of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of all facets of the construction process. You will collaborate closely with clients, design teams, and site personnel, driving project success and upholding the company’s reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
• Lead and motivate project teams, including site staff and subcontractors.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage contracts, procurement, and financial controls for each project.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, managing large-scale projects.
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Oracle Primavera).
• Excellent understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
