About the Role

Our client requires a highly experienced Construction Project Manager to lead a significant new development in Cardiff . This role demands exceptional leadership and organizational skills to manage all phases of the construction project lifecycle, from inception to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, within scope, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders, coordinating efforts to achieve project objectives and foster positive working relationships. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, budget, and timeline.
• Oversee all site operations, ensuring compliance with building regulations and health and safety standards.
• Lead and motivate project teams, including site staff and subcontractors.
• Manage client relationships and stakeholder communications, providing regular progress updates.
• Control project finances, track expenses, and manage variations.
• Mitigate project risks and resolve issues proactively to prevent delays or cost overruns.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, managing complex projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and health and safety protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage subcontractors effectively.
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
