About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee projects from inception to completion. This is a fully remote role, providing the flexibility to manage projects across the UK from your home office. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position is ideal for a results-driven leader who excels in remote collaboration and possesses a deep understanding of the construction lifecycle .
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and manage all construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Oversee site teams and subcontractors, providing clear direction and performance management.
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and project teams, providing regular progress updates.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurately maintained and readily accessible, utilizing digital tools for remote access.
Requirements
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and project management software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, crucial for managing distributed teams.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and schedules effectively, even in a remote setting .
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
