About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead critical projects in the Newcastle upon Tyne area. This role involves overseeing all phases of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be the primary point of contact, managing stakeholder relationships and driving project success through effective planning, execution, and control. Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Manage project execution, monitoring progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Oversee contract administration, procurement, and the management of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular project reviews and provide detailed progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Foster strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and site teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in construction project management , with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g., RICS, CIOB) or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in project management software and techniques.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, legal requirements, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a demanding environment.
