Construction Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Construction Project Manager to lead diverse construction projects in the Newcastle upon Tyne area. You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and successful completion of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, and a deep understanding of construction methodologies and site operations. You will work within a collaborative team environment, contributing to innovative building solutions and upholding our client's reputation for excellence and safety across all sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of construction projects, from initial planning and design to final handover.
• Develop detailed project schedules, resource allocation plans, and budget management strategies.
• Manage and coordinate on-site activities, including subcontractors, labor, and material procurement.
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, quality standards, and building codes.
• Liaise effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory bodies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing contingency plans as needed.

Requirements

• A relevant degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Construction Project Management role.
• Demonstrated experience with project management software and techniques.
• Strong understanding of building codes, construction processes, and site management best practices.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
