About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned and highly capable Construction Project Manager to oversee significant building projects in the Milton Keynes area. This role demands a leader with a proven track record in managing all phases of construction projects, from initial planning and design through to execution and handover. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, while managing budgets and timelines effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Ensure strict adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards throughout the construction process.
- Supervise and coordinate site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor project status and address any issues proactively.
- Manage client relationships and stakeholder communications, providing regular updates on project progress and performance.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery for Milton Keynes sites.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Construction Project Manager , with a portfolio of successfully completed projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in construction project management software and scheduling tools.
- Relevant degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a demanding environment.
