About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Project Manager to lead key projects in Belfast . This role involves overseeing all aspects of the construction lifecycle, from initial planning and design through to completion and handover. You will manage project teams, budgets, and timelines, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget, while meeting the highest quality standards. This hybrid role offers a balance between on-site presence and remote flexibility, allowing you to effectively manage operations and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Manage and coordinate all on-site activities, including labour, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on all construction sites.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, clients, and the project team, providing regular progress reports.
- Oversee contract administration, including procurement, claims, and payments.
Requirements
- Significant experience as a Construction Project Manager or in a senior project coordination role.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and building codes.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in construction, engineering, or a related field.
