About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to oversee significant building projects in and around Glasgow . This role is crucial for ensuring that all construction projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, from initial planning and design through to completion and handover. Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring strict adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality specifications.
- Coordinate and supervise on-site activities, including subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour.
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are met and implemented rigorously on site.
- Review project plans, specifications, and contracts, identifying potential issues and proposing solutions.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings, reporting on project status to stakeholders.
- Manage project documentation, including permits, drawings, reports, and change orders.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
- Proven experience managing commercial, residential, or industrial construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and relevant Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
