Construction Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned and results-driven Construction Project Manager to lead significant projects in and around Belfast . You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves a hybrid working model , blending remote oversight with essential on-site presence to manage teams, monitor progress, and liaise with stakeholders. As a key member of the team, you will drive project success and contribute to the growth of our client's reputable construction business in Northern Ireland .

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction projects from inception to handover, managing resources, timelines, and budgets effectively.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and risk assessments.
• Lead and motivate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project objectives.
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations and quality control standards on all sites.
• Manage client relationships and communications, providing regular progress updates and resolving any issues that arise.
• Procure materials and services, negotiating favourable terms with suppliers and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, managing large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and health and safety legislation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite .
• Ability to manage a hybrid working schedule effectively, balancing remote tasks with on-site responsibilities.
• Relevant construction or project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, SMSTS).
