About the Role

Our client is recruiting a highly competent Construction Project Manager to oversee significant building projects in the Leeds area. This role demands a practical, hands-on approach to managing all phases of the construction process, from initial planning and budgeting to execution and handover. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining strong relationships with contractors, clients, and regulatory bodies. This is a critical position for driving successful project outcomes in the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Supervise on-site operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.
Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, progress reports, and change orders.
Conduct site inspections and quality control checks regularly.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager , with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building materials, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent understanding of contract negotiation and risk management in construction.
Proficiency in construction project management software.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to manage diverse workforces.
