Construction Project Manager

About the Role

Our client seeks a diligent and experienced Construction Project Manager to spearhead key building projects in and around Coventry . You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role is crucial for maintaining our client's reputation for excellence in the construction industry. You'll work closely with site teams, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative environment focused on achieving project milestones and client satisfaction in the West Midlands region.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of construction projects, from initial planning and site acquisition to final handover.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, resource allocation , and budget controls.
• Oversee site operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and building codes.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and external consultants effectively.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure work meets specifications.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.

Requirements

• Significant experience in construction project management, ideally with a focus on residential or commercial builds.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements .
• Proficiency with project management software and CAD drawing interpretation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• A relevant degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
