Construction Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned and results-oriented Construction Project Manager to lead significant projects in Glasgow . This role requires a leader with a proven track record in managing complex construction phases from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for overall project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication, working collaboratively with site teams and clients to achieve project objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and closeout of construction projects, ensuring successful delivery.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation.
• Manage project risks, identify potential issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Oversee site operations, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Monitor project progress, prepare regular reports, and manage project finances, including variations and claims.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a portfolio of successfully delivered projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, project management principles, and contract administration.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
• Relevant degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively on large-scale projects.
