About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee diverse building projects in the Belfast area. This role demands a leader with a strong understanding of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and site management. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards, on schedule, and within budget, coordinating effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, and site personnel. Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of construction projects, from initial planning and design through to final handover.
- Supervise site operations, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and building codes.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure efficient workflow.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, track progress, and implement corrective actions to address deviations.
- Manage project budgets, control costs, and process payments for contractors and suppliers.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure work meets specified standards.
Requirements
- Significant experience (5+ years) as a Project Manager in the construction industry .
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and relevant UK regulations.
- Proficiency in construction project management software and scheduling tools.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant degree or professional qualification (e.g., CIOB, RICS) is advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
