This role is critical for sourcing skilled professionals for the construction industry, from site-based roles to project management and engineering positions. You will be responsible for building relationships with construction firms and placing qualified candidates, ensuring project success and client satisfaction, contributing to the firm's expertise in this vital sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for a variety of construction roles, including project managers, site engineers, quantity surveyors, and tradespeople.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with construction companies and industry professionals.
- Ensure candidates possess the necessary qualifications, certifications, and site-specific experience.
- Stay informed about construction industry trends, project pipelines, and labor market demands.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from initial client briefing to successful candidate placement.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant , with a specialization in the construction sector.
- Strong understanding of construction roles, project lifecycles, and relevant qualifications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience within a dedicated recruitment consultancy focusing on construction and engineering is highly desirable.
