Construction Site Engineer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Site Engineer to support their projects in Sheffield . You will play a crucial role in ensuring the technical accuracy and quality of construction work on site, working closely with the Site Manager and project teams. Your responsibilities will include setting out, surveying, interpreting drawings, and ensuring that work is built to the correct specifications, contributing to the successful and efficient completion of construction activities in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate setting out and dimensional control on site.
• Interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with the project plans and quality standards .
• Monitor site activities, identify technical issues, and assist in resolving them.
• Maintain site records and ensure all technical documentation is up to date.
• Assist in the management of site resources and coordinate with subcontractors on technical matters.

Requirements

• Degree or HND in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.
• Experience as a Site Engineer or Assistant Site Engineer on construction projects.
• Proficiency in using surveying equipment and setting out techniques.
• Ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good understanding of construction processes and safety requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
