About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Site Manager for projects in and around Plymouth . This hybrid role requires a balance of on-site leadership and effective remote management, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations on site, coordinating trades, managing resources, and upholding rigorous quality and safety standards. Your ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders will be crucial in driving project success in this vital South West England location.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring work progresses according to schedule and specifications.
• Implement and enforce strict health and safety regulations and procedures on site.
• Coordinate and direct subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
• Manage site logistics, including material delivery and equipment utilization.
• Maintain accurate site records and prepare progress reports for project managers.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience as a Construction Site Manager or in a similar supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and collaborative tools for hybrid work.
• Relevant CSCS card or equivalent qualification.
