About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Site Manager to oversee project operations remotely, with regular site visits, across the Nottinghamshire region. You will be responsible for the effective management of site activities, ensuring all projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. This fully remote role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of construction processes and regulations. You will be the key liaison between project management and on-site execution, driving efficiency and maintaining a strong safety culture from a flexible, remote base.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all site operations, including labour, plant, and materials, ensuring efficient project delivery.
- Develop and implement detailed construction schedules, monitoring progress and proactively addressing any deviations.
- Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety regulations and company policies on construction sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality control and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Liaise with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure clear communication and coordinated efforts.
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, safety logs, and progress updates.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field, or significant equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a site management or supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Proven experience in managing diverse construction teams and subcontractors.
- In-depth knowledge of UK construction site practices , regulations, and quality standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for remote management, reporting, and collaboration.
