Construction Site Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Construction Site Manager to oversee and direct construction projects from commencement to completion in Wolverhampton . You will be responsible for managing on-site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes and site management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities and personnel.
• Ensure strict adherence to project plans, specifications, and building codes.
• Implement and enforce all health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site labor effectively.
• Monitor project progress, resolve site issues, and ensure timely completion of milestones.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, material logs, and safety documentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and health and safety best practices.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Relevant construction site management qualification (e.g., SMSTS).
• Valid CSCS card.
