About the Role

Our client is actively recruiting for a dedicated Construction Site Supervisor to join their team on a prominent project in Glasgow . This role is essential for ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations on the construction site. You will be responsible for overseeing specific trades, monitoring progress against schedules, and ensuring that all work is carried out safely and to the required quality standards. This position requires a practical, hands-on approach and excellent coordination skills to maintain site productivity and uphold company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the work of tradespeople and laborers on site.
• Monitor construction progress, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and to specification.
• Enforce health and safety protocols on site, conducting daily checks and reporting any hazards.
• Manage the delivery and storage of materials and equipment on site.
• Coordinate with the Site Manager and other supervisors to ensure seamless project flow.
• Maintain accurate daily site logs and reports on work activities and resource utilization.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry .
• Good understanding of construction processes, techniques, and relevant trades.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices on site.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a site team effectively.
