About the Role
Our client is seeking a diligent and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to join their project team in Bradford . This hands-on role involves overseeing daily site activities, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. You will be responsible for supervising trades, managing site logistics, and reporting progress to the Site Manager. This is an ideal position for an individual with a strong practical understanding of construction processes and a commitment to safety and productivity, looking to contribute to exciting building projects in West Yorkshire, working within a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct on-site personnel, including trades and labourers, ensuring efficient workflow.
- Monitor work activities to ensure they are carried out safely, in accordance with health and safety policies and site-specific risk assessments.
- Maintain site tidiness and organization, ensuring proper storage of materials and equipment.
- Report on daily progress, site issues, and resource needs to the Site Manager.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for site personnel.
- Ensure all work is completed to the required quality standards and specifications.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role on construction sites.
- Solid understanding of construction techniques, materials, and health and safety regulations .
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications such as a CSCS card and First Aid qualification are essential.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
