Construction Site Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations on projects in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK . This hands-on role involves ensuring that construction activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. You will be responsible for directing site teams, coordinating subcontractors, monitoring progress against the schedule, and maintaining a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have a practical understanding of construction processes and strong leadership skills to motivate the on-site workforce.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct daily activities of construction teams and subcontractors on site.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and site-specific safety plans.
• Monitor work quality and adherence to project specifications and drawings.
• Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment to the site.
• Report progress to the Project Manager and identify any potential issues or delays.
• Maintain a clean and organized work site.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Site Supervisor , Foreman, or similar role in construction.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, tools, and equipment.
• Knowledge of health and safety best practices on construction sites.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• CSCS card or equivalent certification.
