About the Role

Our client is looking for a vigilant and hands-on Construction Site Supervisor to join their team in Glasgow . This role is critical for ensuring that construction activities on-site are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. You will supervise daily operations, manage tradespeople, and report on progress to the site manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes and a commitment to health and safety. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities, ensuring work is completed according to plans and specifications.
• Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations on site, conducting regular safety checks.
• Coordinate the work of various trade teams and subcontractors to ensure efficient progress.
• Report on site progress, issues, and resource needs to the Site Manager.
• Maintain site records, including daily logs, attendance, and material delivery notes.
• Inspect work completed to ensure it meets quality standards and is compliant with building codes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role on construction sites.
• Solid understanding of construction techniques, building codes, and safety protocols.
• SSSTS (Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme) certification is required.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage and motivate a site team effectively.
• Familiarity with reading construction drawings.
