About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee various construction sites and projects in the Norwich area. This crucial role involves ensuring that all construction activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and to the required quality standards. You will be responsible for supervising on-site personnel, managing workflow, and liaising with project management. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, a thorough understanding of construction processes, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment, driving the successful completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise the daily activities of construction crews and subcontractors.
- Ensure all work is performed according to project plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Implement and enforce stringent health and safety protocols on site.
- Monitor the quality of work performed and ensure it meets company and client standards.
- Manage materials and equipment, ensuring availability and proper use.
- Report project progress, challenges, and site conditions to the Project Manager.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor , Foreman, or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and relevant regulations.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental requirements in construction.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project documentation.
- Experience in managing and motivating site teams.
