Location: York & Scarborough - Locum 3-6 Months (View to extend)
Working Hours: 40 hours - Ward cover & Outpatient work (GIM on-call available)
Rate: Lucrative rates

We are seeking enthusiastic, highly motivated Consultants to join a growing Respiratory Medicine team in York & Scarborough. The posts aim to support the expansion of the Respiratory department, increasing outpatient capacity for general and/or specialist Respiratory clinics, and developing ambulatory and/or community-based services, establishing acute clinics, and providing support for the new Consultant model for inpatient care. Applicants with any sub‑specialty interest, especially in Asthma and/or chronic Respiratory illness, are welcomed. CESR support can be offered to those wanting to pursue this pathway to GMC‑specialist registration.

What will your responsibilities be?

As a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating conditions using imaging techniques, managing patient care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Your expertise will be vital in guiding teams to deliver high‑quality Respiratory Medicine services and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
