About the Role

Our client is seeking a proficient Consultant with expertise in Supply Chain & Logistics to join their team in Stoke-on-Trent . You will be responsible for optimizing client supply chain operations, from procurement and inventory management to distribution and logistics. This role involves diagnosing inefficiencies, designing robust supply chain strategies, and implementing solutions that enhance cost-effectiveness, speed, and reliability. You will work with businesses to build resilient and efficient supply chains that support their growth objectives in the Staffordshire region and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of client supply chain networks and performance.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency gains, and service level improvements.
• Develop and implement strategies for inventory management, demand forecasting, and network design.
• Advise on procurement, sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
• Evaluate and recommend logistics and transportation solutions.
• Utilize data analytics to model scenarios and support decision-making.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or consulting focused on these areas.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and best practices.
• Experience with supply chain planning tools and methodologies.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven recommendations.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Relevant degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or Engineering.
