About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive Continuous Improvement Engineer to join their team in Nottingham . This role is dedicated to driving operational excellence by identifying and implementing process enhancements that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality. You will be instrumental in applying various methodologies, including Lean and Six Sigma, to solve complex operational challenges and foster a culture of ongoing improvement. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and other relevant methodologies.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and root causes of problems, recommending data-driven solutions.
- Develop and implement standardized work procedures and best practices to enhance consistency and quality.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to drive process optimization and problem-solving initiatives.
- Conduct process audits and performance evaluations to ensure continuous adherence to standards and identify further improvement opportunities.
- Train and mentor team members on continuous improvement tools and techniques within the Nottingham operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in continuous improvement, process engineering, or a similar role.
- Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt certification preferred).
- Proficiency in data analysis, process mapping, and problem-solving techniques.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
