Contracts Manager - Logistics
Location: City of London Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + Benefits
Our client, a leading provider of construction logistics services, is looking to appoint an experienced Logistics Contracts Manager to join its head office team in London.
This position will play a critical role in managing key client contracts, ensuring operational excellence across multiple projects, and supporting the continued growth of the business. The successful candidate will act as a key link between clients, operational teams, and senior management to ensure service delivery meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of construction logistics contracts from mobilisation through to completion. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders. Monitor contract performance against agreed KPIs and service level agreements. Work closely with operational teams to ensure efficient and effective project delivery. Identify opportunities for contract growth and business development. Manage commercial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting requirements. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, health and safety requirements, and company procedures. Lead contract reviews and provide regular performance updates to senior management. Support tender submissions, contract negotiations, and client presentations where required.
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in a Contracts Manager, Operations Manager, or similar role within construction logistics. Strong commercial understanding and contract management experience. Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Commercially aware with a proactive and solutions-focused approach. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
