We are working with an established and highly respected specialist fit-out contractor based near to Amesbury who are looking to strengthen their team with an experienced Contracts Manager.

With a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality retail and commercial environments, this is an opportunity to join a business working on some genuinely impressive projects across the UK with a particularly strong presence in Central London.

Projects typically range from £300,000 to £800,000, with the business also delivering larger schemes up to approximately £3 million.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects from pre-construction through to successful completion and who thrives in the fast-paced environment of retail fit-out.

Contracts Manager Job Description

As Contracts Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple fit-out projects, ensuring they are completed safely, commercially and to the high standards expected by the company's clients.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover
• Taking overall responsibility for programme, quality, commercial performance and delivery
• Managing and coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
• Working closely with clients, consultants, designers and project stakeholders
• Reviewing programmes and ensuring key milestones are achieved
• Managing project costs, variations, valuations and commercial performance
• Identifying and resolving project issues proactively
• Ensuring health & safety and quality standards are maintained throughout
