We're looking for an experienced Contract Manager who enjoys working collaboratively, developing teams and building positive client relationships.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the safe and successful delivery of highways and civil engineering projects
- Supporting and developing Project Managers and operational teams
- Building strong, collaborative relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Monitoring project performance, programme delivery and financial outcomes
- Promoting a positive safety culture and ensuring compliance with quality and environmental standards
- Managing project risks and supporting effective decision-making
- Contributing to business growth and continuous improvement
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, developing others and building positive relationships, alongside:
- Previous experience in a Contract Manager or senior leadership role within highways or civil engineering
- Strong understanding of NEC contracts and commercial management
- Experience leading multiple projects and teams
- Excellent communication, planning and relationship-building skills
- A good understanding of health, safety and quality requirements
- Proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft Office
- HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- NVQ Level 6/7, SMSTS and CSCS Manager Card
- Full UK driving licence
