About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, program, and commission PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for industrial automation applications.
• Develop and maintain electrical control panel designs, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and control system issues on manufacturing equipment.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers and production teams to integrate automation solutions.
• Implement and manage software updates, system upgrades, and cybersecurity measures for control systems.
• Ensure all designs and installations comply with relevant safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in designing, programming, and commissioning PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
• Experience with HMI/SCADA software and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and control system design principles.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid team structure.
