About the Role

Our client is seeking a proficient Control Systems Engineer to join their dedicated team in Wolverhampton , focusing on advanced power generation facilities. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of sophisticated control systems that ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of power plants. Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and commission PLC and DCS control systems for power generation plants.
• Develop and maintain SCADA systems for monitoring and data acquisition.
• Implement and troubleshoot advanced process control strategies.
• Ensure control systems meet stringent safety and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in control systems engineering within the power generation sector .

• Experience with SCADA systems and HMI development.
• Strong understanding of process dynamics and control theory.
