About the Role
Our client, a dynamic specialist in automation and bespoke manufacturing solutions, is seeking a skilled Control Systems Engineer to join their innovative team in Brighton . This role focuses on the design, programming, implementation, and support of industrial control systems, including PLC, HMI, and SCADA. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver automated solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, program, and commission PLC and HMI systems for a variety of industrial applications.
- Specify and integrate sensors, actuators, and other control system components.
- Develop and maintain SCADA systems for process monitoring, data acquisition, and reporting.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for installed control systems, both remotely and on-site.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their automation requirements and deliver tailored solutions that meet their operational needs.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in designing and programming PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and HMIs.
- Familiarity with SCADA system implementation and networking protocols used in industrial automation.
- Strong understanding of industrial automation principles, including process control and machine safety.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
