About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented Control Systems Engineer to join their innovative team based in Norwich, Norfolk . Key Responsibilities

• Design, program, and commission PLC and HMI systems for automated processes.
• Develop and implement control strategies to optimise operational efficiency and product quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and integrate new technologies.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation, including control logic, electrical schematics, and user manuals.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in control system technology and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Degree in Control Systems Engineering , Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in designing and implementing industrial control systems.
• Proficiency with PLC programming platforms (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000).
• Experience with SCADA systems and industrial networking protocols (e.g., Profibus, Modbus).
• Strong understanding of electrical principles and instrumentation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
