Job Description
Control Systems Engineer
The company designs control and instrumentation and electrical systems, systems to monitor installations, environments, pollution, emergency shutdown systems. As a legislation‑led, growing area, they are recruiting.
Responsibilities
- Design and commission PLC control software for new projects.
- Test and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and drives on site and in office.
- Assist team members with system testing and final commissioning.
- Upgrade existing systems and develop one‑off solutions as requested by clients.
- Conduct on‑site visits to UK customers for commissioning, troubleshooting, support, or upgrades.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience programming PLCs (Schneider or other brands such as Rockwell Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, etc.).
- Knowledge of HMI and drives integration.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to client sites approximately 50% of the time.
- Must have a permanent right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).
Compensation & Benefits
- Basic salary at least £55,000.
