Controls & Robotics Engineer
Location: Cheltenham / Tewkesbury
Salary: 70K - 80K + Excellent Benefits
Controls & Robotics Engineer required by well-established specialist engineering company!
This is a key role designing, programming and commissioning bespoke industrial automation systems, working across both complex PLC controls and industrial robotics
Essential:
* Strong commercial industrial controls and robotics experience
* Ability to write complex PLC software from scratch using Allen-Bradley Studio 5000 and/or Siemens TIA Portal
* Ability to design, programme and integrate industrial robotic systems
* HMI/touchscreen, SCADA and industrial network programming
* Experience with automated machinery/manufacturing systems
* Installation, commissioning and fault-finding experience
* Willing and able to travel internationally, including regular trips to North America
* Full UK driving licence
Nice-to-have:
* FANUC robotics experience
* EPLAN electrical design
* Machine vision systems
* Project management/technical ownership experience
