About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and meticulous Conveyancer to join their fully remote property law team. This role is fundamental to managing all aspects of property transactions, from initial instructions to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient process for clients buying, selling, or remortgaging properties. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, highly organized, and possess excellent communication skills to manage client expectations and deliver outstanding service in a remote-first environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
- Conduct thorough title investigations , review searches, and prepare necessary legal documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors throughout the transaction process.
- Ensure compliance with CQS, WL, and other relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Oversee the financial aspects of transactions, including the handling of client funds and completion statements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a qualified or experienced Conveyancer , with a strong understanding of residential property law.
- Proficiency in using case management software and digital conveyancing platforms.
- Excellent client care skills and the ability to manage expectations.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a busy workload remotely.
