Conveyancer

My client is recruiting for an experienced Conveyancer to join their Conveyancing team in Derby, Derbyshire.

This is an opportunity to manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload within an established team, working independently while maintaining strong client relationships and providing a high standard of service.

The Role

• Managing a caseload of residential sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and property documentation.
• Providing clear and practical legal advice to clients.
• Liaising with estate agents, solicitors, lenders and other third parties.
• Conducting property searches and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Maintaining accurate case management records and meeting deadlines.
• Supporting junior colleagues and assisting with supervision where required.
• Managing matters from initial instruction through to completion.

The Candidate

• Be a qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive.
• Have demonstrable experience in residential conveyancing.
• Be confident managing your own caseload independently.
• Have strong communication and client care skills.
• Be proactive, organised and deadline focused.
• Have excellent attention to detail.
• Maintain a professional and confidential approach at all times.
• Be committed to providing a high standard of client service.
