About the Role
Our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced Conveyancing Executive to join their thriving property law department in Newcastle upon Tyne . You will be responsible for managing a caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion, ensuring a high level of service for all clients. This role demands exceptional organisational skills and a proactive approach to client communication and transaction management. Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
- Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors to progress transactions efficiently.
- Prepare and review legal documentation such as contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage offer reports.
- Conduct thorough searches and provide comprehensive advice on title, planning, and other property-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with SRA regulations and firm policies throughout the conveyancing process.
- Handle post-completion formalities, including registration with HM Land Registry.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Conveyancing Executive, Paralegal, or Solicitor specialising in property law.
- Strong understanding of residential conveyancing procedures and relevant legislation.
- Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
- Proficiency in using case management software and digital conveyancing tools.
- A professional qualification such as a CILEX or equivalent is advantageous.
