1:1 Core Subjects Tutor - Wrexham

Hours: 5-15 hours per week

Prospero Teaching are seeking a versatile 1:1 Tutor to provide tailored educational support to a learner in Wrexham.

The role would suit a teacher or experienced tutor who is confident delivering support across core subjects and enjoys adapting lessons to meet the needs of individual learners.

About the Role

• Provide personalised 1:1 tuition
• Support development across core academic subjects
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons
• Identify learning gaps and areas for development
• Adapt teaching strategies and resources
• Encourage positive attitudes towards learning
• Record and communicate learner progress

Requirements

• Previous experience tutoring or teaching children/young people
• Strong knowledge of core curriculum subjects
• Experience delivering 1:1 support is beneficial
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Flexible approach to planning and delivery
• QTS, PGCE or relevant teaching experience desirable
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to process a new application
• Right to Work in the UK
• Two professional references relating to working with children
