Hours: 5-15 hours per week

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Core Subjects Tutor to provide individualised educational support in Liverpool.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working on a 1:1 basis and able to tailor tuition to the learner's academic level, strengths and areas for development.

About the Role

• Deliver personalised tuition across core subjects
• Establish the learner's starting points and learning objectives
• Prepare purposeful and engaging sessions
• Address gaps in knowledge
• Adapt resources and teaching methods
• Encourage confidence and motivation
• Monitor progress and provide feedback

What We're Looking For

• Experience teaching or tutoring children or young people
• Strong knowledge of core secondary subjects
• Previous 1:1 experience is beneficial
• Flexible and learner-focused approach
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• QTS, PGCE or relevant teaching experience desirable
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• Right to Work in the UK
• Two professional references involving work with children
