Corporate Finance Lawyer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Corporate Finance Lawyer to join their highly regarded finance team in Liverpool . This role offers the chance to work on a variety of high-profile financing transactions, advising lenders and borrowers on complex deals. You will play a key role in structuring, negotiating, and documenting financing arrangements, including acquisition finance, real estate finance, and general corporate lending. Key Responsibilities

• Advise on the structuring and documentation of a wide range of finance transactions.
• Act for both borrowers and lenders in acquisition finance, leveraged finance, and corporate lending deals.
• Conduct legal due diligence on borrowers and security assets.
• Draft, review, and negotiate finance agreements, security documents, and intercreditor arrangements.
• Manage transaction processes, ensuring timely completion and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other professional advisors.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor or barrister with a minimum of 6 years’ experience in finance law.
• Demonstrable experience in advising on leveraged finance, acquisition finance, and general corporate lending.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.
• Ability to manage complex transactions efficiently and effectively.
• Proficiency in remote working tools and practices.
