About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and ambitious Corporate Finance Lawyer to join their expanding legal team in Wolverhampton . This role is central to advising on a broad spectrum of corporate finance transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, disposals, and fundraising activities. You will collaborate closely with internal business units and external advisors to navigate complex financial deals, ensuring legal compliance and achieving strategic objectives. This is an outstanding opportunity for a finance lawyer to take on significant responsibility and drive key transactions within a supportive and dynamic West Midlands environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring transactions.
- Support fundraising activities, including equity and debt financings.
- Conduct legal due diligence for corporate transactions and prepare necessary documentation.
- Negotiate transaction agreements, shareholder agreements, and financing documents.
- Ensure compliance with relevant corporate and financial regulations.
- Manage relationships with external legal counsel and financial advisors.
Requirements
- A qualified Solicitor or Barrister with a minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate finance or M&A.
- Proven track record in advising on complex corporate transactions and financings.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, securities law, and corporate governance.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and drafting skills.
- Ability to manage demanding workloads and deliver high-quality advice in a hybrid working model within Wolverhampton .
