About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented Corporate Finance Lawyer to join their expanding practice in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is critical for advising clients on a variety of financial transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, private equity investments, and capital markets activities. You will be instrumental in structuring deals, conducting due diligence, and drafting intricate financial agreements, working closely with a diverse client base ranging from startups to established corporations. Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on structuring and executing corporate finance transactions, including M&A, joint ventures, and financing arrangements.
• Conduct thorough due diligence investigations for potential investments and acquisitions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex financial agreements, term sheets, and shareholder documentation.
• Provide legal counsel on regulatory compliance related to financial services and capital markets.
• Liaise with investment banks, financial advisors, and other stakeholders involved in transactions.
• Manage transaction processes from initial engagement through to completion, ensuring timely execution.

Requirements

• A qualified solicitor or barrister with a minimum of 5 years' experience in corporate finance or M&A.
• Strong experience in handling private equity transactions and corporate fundraising.
• Deep understanding of UK financial regulations and capital markets law.
• Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centric approach.
