About the Role

Our client is recruiting a dedicated Corporate Lawyer to join their established legal practice in Birmingham, West Midlands . This role is crucial for supporting a growing portfolio of corporate clients, advising on mergers, acquisitions, and general corporate advisory matters. You will play a key role in structuring and executing transactions, ensuring all legal aspects are handled with precision and efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, disposals, and joint ventures.
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents, including sale and purchase agreements and shareholders' agreements.
• Conduct due diligence investigations and prepare detailed reports.
• Provide ongoing corporate governance advice to company boards and management teams.
• Manage the legal aspects of corporate finance transactions and restructurings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant corporate law and market trends.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice as a solicitor or barrister in the UK with a minimum of 4 years' experience in corporate law .
• Proven track record in handling M&A transactions and corporate advisory work.
• In-depth knowledge of the UK Companies Act and related legislation.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric approach.
• Commitment to ethical practice and professional integrity.
