About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Lawyer to join their established practice in the heart of Cardiff . This role offers the opportunity to engage in a wide array of corporate transactional work, advising a diverse client base ranging from start-ups to established public companies. You will play a key role in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate finance, and general corporate advisory matters. Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on a broad spectrum of corporate transactions, including M&A, private equity, and capital markets.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, shareholder agreements, and constitutional documents.
• Conduct due diligence investigations and manage deal execution processes.
• Provide expert legal advice on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, fostering repeat business and client satisfaction.
• Mentor junior lawyers and support staff, contributing to the team's overall development.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in corporate law.
• Demonstrable experience in handling complex corporate transactions independently.
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and commercial acumen.
• Strong academic record and a commitment to professional development.
• Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Familiarity with the commercial landscape in Cardiff and the wider Welsh region is an advantage.
