Our client is seeking a qualified and proactive Corporate Legal Advisor to join their esteemed legal department in Nottingham . This role requires comprehensive knowledge of corporate law and governance, supporting the company's strategic objectives and ensuring regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on corporate governance, board procedures, and shareholder matters.
- Assist in the drafting and negotiation of various corporate agreements, including joint ventures and strategic alliances.
- Ensure compliance with relevant corporate laws and regulatory requirements.
- Support due diligence processes for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate reorganizations.
- Manage the company's legal records and ensure compliance with statutory obligations.
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor or barrister with at least 6 years of post-qualification experience in corporate law.
- Strong understanding of UK company law and corporate governance principles.
- Experience in advising on M&A transactions is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a hybrid work structure in the Nottingham area.
