About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a talented and ambitious Corporate Solicitor to join their dynamic legal team in Cardiff . This role is essential for supporting the firm's diverse clientele with high-quality legal services, particularly in corporate finance and transactional work. You will manage a demanding caseload, advise clients on complex legal structures, and contribute significantly to the firm's reputation for excellence in corporate law . Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, disposals, and joint ventures, managing the transaction process from inception to completion.
• Draft, negotiate, and finalise a wide range of corporate agreements, including share purchase agreements and shareholders' agreements.
• Conduct due diligence investigations and prepare comprehensive reports for clients.
• Provide expert advice on company law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage relationships with clients, providing clear, concise, and timely legal counsel.
• Support business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the corporate department.

Requirements

• Solicitor qualification with a current UK practicing certificate.
• Significant experience (5+ years) in corporate law, with a strong track record in transactional work.
• Proficiency in advising on company formation, reorganisation, and compliance matters.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong client relationship management skills and a commercial mindset.
